Scholarship D2, D3, and S1 to Japan given by the Japanese government for the year 2012 opened on May 9, 2011 and will close on June 10, 2011. Here we present the material terms and exams for each level. Please note each student can only choose one program (D2/D3/S1)
Undergraduate (S-1): 5-year study period included a year studying Japanese language (except public medical school, dental, animal, and some pharmaceutical long study period is 7 years old)
• Requirements: high school graduates; average value of a diploma or third grade report card last semester each of at least 8.4; between the date of birth. 2 April 1990 and the date. 1 April 1995
• Material written exam:
IPS: English, Japanese, and Mathematics
IPA-a: English, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics
IPA-b, c: English, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology
• The choice of majors (study programs):
IPS: Laws, Politics, Pedagogy, Sociology, Literature, History, Japanese language, Economics, Business Administration, and others.
IPA-a: Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry); Electric and Electronic Studies (Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering), Mechanical Studies (Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture), Civil Engineering and Architecture (Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering) ; Chemical Studies (Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Textile Engineering); and other fields (Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Maritime Engineering, Biotechnology)
IPA-b: Agricultural Studies (Agriculture, Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Forestry, Food Science, Fisheries), Hygienic Studies (Pharmacy, Hygienics, Nursing), Science (Biology)
IPA-c: Medicine; Dentistry
College of Technology (D-3): 4-year study period included a year studying Japanese language. College of Technology has a 5-year program designed for junior high school graduates. Monbukagakusho Scholarship Students (high school graduates) will enter the College of Technology as a third-year students. The study technique consists mostly of experiments / trials and practice exercises. Graduates of these schools are expected to be a technical expert (engineer).
• Requirements: high school graduates; average value of a diploma or third grade report card last semester each of at least 8.0; between the date of birth. 2 April 1990 and the date. 1 April 1995
• Material written exam: Mathematics and Chemistry / Physics (depending on category of majors such as written below)
• Preferred majors:
Chemistry: Programs related to chemistry such as "Engineering Materials", etc..
Physics: Programs such as "Mechanical Engineering", "Electrical and Electronic Engineering", "Information, Communication, and Network Engineering", "Architecture and Civil Engineering", "Maritime Engineering", etc..
Professional Training College (D-2): 3-year study period included a year studying Japanese language. Professional Training College apart from the usual Japanese education system. This school offers practical vocational training.
• Requirements: high school graduates; average value of a diploma or grade report card last 3 semesters each
at least 8.0; between the date of birth. 2 April 1990 and the date. 1 April 1995
• Material written exam: English Language and Mathematics
• Preferred majors: Architecture; Civil Engineering: Electrical Engineering: Electronics: Telecommunication; Nutrition; Infant Education; Secretarial Studies; Hotel Management; Tourism; Fashion and Dress making; Design; Photography; etc.
Note:
• All exam questions in English.
• Graduates of the S-1 could proceed to the S-2, and graduates of 3-D and D-2 can proceed to the S-1 as a third-year students. But to continue the scholarship, depending on achievements and results of selection. Students must be taking an entrance exam and the maximum two-year extension of the scholarship.

• Allowances ¥ 123.000/bulan (Great allowances in 2011). For 2012 and subsequent years is likely to change)

Registration Procedure
• Period of registration: Starting on May 9 s / d June 10, 2011
• Only applicants who meet the above requirements are entitled to take the form available at the Japanese Embassy in Jakarta or the Consulate General of Japan in Surabaya, Medan and Makassar.
• Forms must be submitted to the Japanese Embassy in Jakarta or the Consulate General of Japan in Surabaya, Medan and Makassar complete with copies of three classes last semester report cards, diplomas, and the value of a diploma (can use the documents while out of school when the original value of the Regional Office of Education Ministry has not come out )
• Forms must be returned within 3 working days.
(Especially for those who are outside Greater Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan and Makassar)

2. Attach copies: 3 class last semester report cards, diplomas, and the value of a diploma (can use the documents while out of school when the original value of the Regional Office of Education Ministry has not come out).
3. Which must be included in the cover letter: full name, place and date of birth, full address and telephone number / HP (so it can be reached if needed), a program that will be followed (S-1, D-3, or D-2), and 3 (three) subjects to be studied.
4. By sending all these documents, we consider legitimate as a substitute form (no need to fill out the registration form).
SELECTION PROCEDURE
• Applicants who pass the preselection (selection of documents) will be called to follow the written exam (in July). Preselection is based on the value of diplomas and report cards.
• Those who pass the written exam will be called for interview in Jakarta (in Indonesian) (August). For those who pass the interview will be recommended to Monbukagakusho
• Those who pass the selection in the Monbukagakusho scholarship recipients will be. Determination Monbukagakusho scholarship recipient is determined in January 2012.
